About Concurrent, Inc

Concurrent, Inc. provides Enterprise class software that brings the power of parallel computing clusters to production data processing.

The company was founded in May, 2008 by Chris K Wensel, the author of the Cascading open source project, whose experience includes deploying large and sophisticated data processing applications for use by companies providing behavioral targeting, geo-spatial, web content, and financial data services in both traditional enterprise data centers and on Amazon EC2.

The company’s first publicly available tool is Cascading, open-source software for rapidly creating cluster scalable, fault tolerant, data processing applications. Both Developer Support Contracts and Commercial/OEM Software Licensing and Support are available for Cascading. See our Support page for more details.
