Chris is the Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Concurrent and lead developer of the Cascading open-source project. Cascading is the de-facto standard application framework for building and deploying large scale data processing applications.
Chris has over 20 years of industry experience- focusing over half his career on big data and big audience style problems and technologies.
Paco Nathan – Scientist & Evangelist
Paco is a “player/coach” who has lead Data Science teams, with 25+ years technology industry experience ranging from Bell Labs to early-stage start-ups. Paco is a recognized expert at MapReduce, Amazon AWS, machine learning, distributed computing. Paco received his BS Math Sciences and MS Computer Science degrees from Stanford University.
Gary Nakamura – Chief Executive Officer
Gary is Chief Executive Officer of Concurrent. He joined Concurrent in January 2013 to lead Concurrent through its next phase of growth. Gary has a highly successful track record including significant contributions to the explosive growth of Terracotta where
he was SVP& General Manager.
Gary is uniquely qualified to lead Concurrent given his extensive background in open source and commercial enterprise software.
